The KNG2 is equipped with loud, crisp audio using a large, enhanced speaker and has a bright colorized screen with industry large display area. In addition to this, the KNG2 is IP67/IP68 dust, water tight, and durable in any environment. Rated APCO P25 Interoperable, the T2 portable radio is popular among military, fire, and police departments as well as Emergency Services.

The KNG2 features the option of internal Bluetooth hardware for wireless accessory connectivity. P25 Location Services per TIA-102-BAJB are supported with Tier I Conventional and Tier II Trunking. KNG2 is also available without a keypad.

DVSI AMBE+2 Version 1.60 Vocoder

The version 1.60 Vocoder provides improved RF performance in a variety of degraded signal conditions. It also provides enhanced audio signal conditioning which improves system performance in the presence of background noise.

Users sending text messages receive an acknowledgement that deliver of the message was successful. Text Messages can be sent radio-to-radio or can be repeated through fixed network equipment.
